Eimear Walshe’s Irish Pavilion for the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2024. Exhibited for the first time in Ireland as part of the 41st EVA International. 

Starring, filmed and directed by Eimear Walshe, Mufutau Yusuf, Ghaliah Conroy, Rima Baransi, Cillian Byrne, Ailbhe W. Drohan, Ethan Soost. 

The Soundtrack is composed by Amanda Feery, based on a libretto written by Eimear Walshe.

The official launch of ROMANTIC IRELAND: A National Tour in Fragments. With opening remarks from Clare Power Head of Visual Arts at the Arts Council, Matt Packer, Director/CEO of EVA International, and artist Eimear Walshe.

ROMANTIC IRELAND

Eimear Walshe will give an artist talk at the historic Strokestown Park House and Famine Museum, a site of major inspiration in the development of ROMANTIC IRELAND. Walshe will present on the significance of the local history of Strokestown in their practice to date.

PERFORMANCE

ROMANTIC IRELAND – The Opera
Two concerts in Dublin and Belfast, including ROMANTIC IRELAND, the opera by Amanda Feery and Eimear Walshe, performed by 4 in a Bar (Eoin Conway, Patrick McGinley, Ernest Dines, Paul McGough and Tristan Caldwell). Also featuing NEST by Amanda Feery with Declan Synott, and Breastplate for a dead child by Dylan Kerr and Eimear Walshe.
